The pavilion picnic area is located just above the upper overlook,
with ample parking. A paved walkway leads to the pavilion, (with
easy access for wheelchairs also), and you find yourself at the
pavilion great for family reunions and gatherings which offers shelter
in the event of rain.
Under the covered pavilion are 8 large picnic
tables, a charcoal BBQ
grill, a second large charcoal
BBQ grill, and there was
an electrical outlet
at the pavilion (not checked for power).
The pavilion must be reserved by calling
toll free: 1-866-494-7186, Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Eastern Standard Time. The cost for the pavilion was listed at
$50.00 per day.
