DOUGLAS DAM & IMMEDIATE AREA!

     DOUGLAS DAM, completed in 1943, is 202 feet high (62 meters) and 1,705 feet (520 meters) long, the reservoir length is 43 miles (69 kilometers) and the flood storage is 2,020 million cubic yards (1,544 million cubic meters).  A beautiful place for a visit, complete with overlooks with GREAT views of the dam, which also provide picnic areas.  Click on any picture to the left for a tour of the DOUGLAS DAM immediate area!
